Position: Production Technician (Chemblend)

  • Chemfreight is the largest specialised third-party logistics provider of hazardous goods storage and distribution solutions in New Zealand.
  • We have a committed focus on providing excellent service and have a position available for a Chemical Plant Operator / Production Technician within our Chemblend division.

POSITION INFO

You will be directly responsible for ensuring our customer's service delivery expectations are met across all services provided.

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our busy team, who is keen to learn a variety of support based tasks and is an all-rounder.

There is a focus on teamwork to provide efficient and accurate blending service to a wide range of customers including a number of multinational companies.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the wash bay and associated duties
  • Dealing with trade waste and down-packing
  • Repacking Chemicals
  • Processing of bill of materials
  • Stocktaking and management of Raw Materials

Position: Warehouse Store Person

  • We are currently seeking a warehouse store person to join our busy team.

POSITION INFO

As a warehouse store person there is a focus on team work to provide efficient and accurate service to a wide range of customers including a number of multi –national companies.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays if required.

Your role will involve all facets of the warehouse including inwards goods, put away, picking and packing, stocktakes and completing documentation to a high standard.

Ideal Candidate Skills

  • Experience in warehousing
  • Full drivers licence – (preferably with F endorsement)
  • Current Reach truck and counter balance licence with experience up to 7m
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • MPI Accreditation preferred but not essential
  • Dangerous Goods experience preferred but not essential
