Position: Despatcher/Transport Coordinator

This is a rare opportunity to join our close-knit operations and transport team. This position is responsible for coordinating the outwards flow of goods for delivery from our Chemfreight warehouses in Auckland.

The Responsibilities

  • To ensure correct documentation is supplied on any dispatched goods
  • Complete daily run sheets and load planning for Chemfreight drivers
  • Assist with communication between drivers and our customers and delivery points
  • Schedule repairs and maintenance for trucks
  • Manage cost efficiency of runs
  • Input data into transport management system

The Criteria

To be successful in this busy role, you will have strong multi-tasking ability with a calm approach, clear and prompt communication style with a strong command of the English language.

You will need to be a self-starter and be able to prioritise your workload while managing multiple jobs on the go. 2+ years of previous experience as a Dispatcher/Transport Coordinator is required, however experience in Dangerous and Hazardous goods is not essential but would be advantageous.

You will have a thirst for knowledge and enjoy continuously learning and improving your skills. While you are proud of your meticulous accuracy, you understand that to be truly impactful is all about building trusted relationships with your internal and external clients and delivering impeccable service.

Position: Warehouse Store Person

Three positions available

  • We are currently seeking a warehouse store person to join our busy team.


As a warehouse store person there is a focus on team work to provide efficient and accurate service to a wide range of customers including a number of multi –national companies.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays if required.

Your role will involve all facets of the warehouse including inwards goods, put away, picking and packing, stocktakes and completing documentation to a high standard.

Ideal Candidate Skills

  • Experience in warehousing
  • Full drivers licence – (preferably with F endorsement)
  • Current Reach truck and counter balance licence with experience up to 7m
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • MPI Accreditation preferred but not essential
  • Dangerous Goods experience preferred but not essential
