The Role

As the HSEQ Manager you will be responsible for the daily execution and continuous improvement of all health, safety, environment and quality programmes and initiatives.  Reporting directly to the Head of HSEQ, this East Tamaki based role will focus on managing HSEQ systems, ensuring compliance (MHF, MPI, HACCP) with relevant legislation and assessing new storage and distribution business opportunities and providing support to our chemical toll blending business.

This role is integral to our success and as such, you will lead a talented team of HSEQ professionals and work alongside a supportive leadership team to help drive our strong health and safety culture.  This role has exposure to all aspects of HSEQ, including developing major accident prevention plans and environmental programmes, business continuity, and emergency preparation to meet our MHF and other compliance requirements.

The Criteria

To be successful, you will be collaborative, analytical, and driven to deliver. You will have a minimum of ten years HSEQ experience and advanced HSNO knowledge which include having worked at an MHF for a minimum of 5 years.  You will have a Chemistry or Science tertiary qualification, have a passion for delivering meaningful H&S change and you understand that fundamentally, the safety of people comes first.

Position: Senior HSEQ Advisor

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to join our expert HSEQ team and help grow your career as an HSEQ professional in an environment where your expertise will be utilised across multiple major hazard facilities. You will report directly to the HSEQ Manager and work closely with our other HSEQ team members providing senior advisor level experience and support.

This role holds a senior position in the HSEQ team so you will be expected to be able to support and mentor your teammates, as well as all other Chemfreight staff on matters across all of health and safety.

You will also be involved in a wide range of HSEQ activities with a focus on providing technical and compliance support to the Operations, Facilities and toll blending teams on Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality issues.

The Criteria

To be successful, you will have 5+ years in a similar role, have an investigative mind, strong interpersonal skills and command of the English language both spoken and written. You will also have strong analytical, critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving ability.

Position: Warehouse Store Person

  • We are currently seeking a warehouse store person to join our busy team.

POSITION INFO

As a warehouse store person there is a focus on team work to provide efficient and accurate service to a wide range of customers including a number of multi –national companies.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays if required.

Your role will involve all facets of the warehouse including inwards goods, put away, picking and packing, stocktakes and completing documentation to a high standard.

Ideal Candidate Skills

  • Experience in warehousing
  • Full drivers licence – (preferably with F endorsement)
  • Current Reach truck and counter balance licence with experience up to 7m
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • MPI Accreditation preferred but not essential
  • Dangerous Goods experience preferred but not essential
